Choose the Tama County or Iowa custodian that matches the record:
- Court case files and certified copies: contact the Tama County Clerk of District Court, 100 W. High Street, Toledo, IA 52342, at 641-484-3721; normal county building hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but confirm court hours before visiting
- Arrest, booking, jail, warrant, and sheriff incident records: contact the Tama County Sheriff's Office, 100 N. Main Street, Toledo, IA 52342; Administration/Civil is 641-484-4111 and Communications/Jail is 641-484-3760
- Iowa criminal-history checks: order through the Iowa Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Investigation; DCI accepts online, mail, fax, email, and in-person requests, but not phone requests
- City police reports: contact the police department or other agency that responded and created the report
- Expungement: use the current Iowa Judicial Branch form and file with the clerk in the county where the case was heard
- Sex offender registration questions: contact the Tama County Sheriff's Office or use the official Iowa Sex Offender Registry
